You say that anyone who takes a religious book literally is a "nut case." I won't argue with you; you can define "nut case" any way you like. But a person who reads the Bible and takes the words of Jesus literally will at least be a harmless nut case.

If you read all the words of Jesus recorded in the Bible you will not see Jesus ordering his followers to kill, maim, or enslave non-Christians. Quite the contrary; he orders his followers to do things like "love your enemies."

But obedience to the Koran means killing, mutilating, and even sexually enslaving "infidels."
