John, You are right, but nobody will believe you. You are right in saying that the majority of mens fb and bb programs lose money, but that is because the majority of college teams are not in the big time. The football teams that play games on national TV on a Saturday are making big bucks. They are the ones people are aware of. Most folks don't stop to think about how many college football programs operate below that elite level. Western Washington University recently dropped its football program because football was the most expensive sports program they had. All sports at WWU required money from the university, and football had by far the highest operating costs.

Stanton Evans very carefully dismantled the lies about McCarthy in his abundantly footnoted book Blacklisted by History. When Senator McCarthy asked someone if they'd been spying for the Soviets, he generally knew the answers before he asked the questions; that's why so many of his "victims" took the Fifth when asked about their esponage activities. Just hi-light the address by waiving your mouse over the address while holding the mouse button down. Then hit the control key ("ctrl" key) simultaneous with the letter "c" to copy the address. Nobody should be surprised at Professor Klitzman's anti-American radicalism. Two words should be enough to explain it: Columbia University. Columbia is where Prof. Nicolas De Genova exulted over America's humiliation in Mogadishu, saying that the US deserves "a million Mogadishs." Columbia hired Prof. Rashid Khalidi after he'd spent several years as a spokesman for the PLO. Columbia is where the Communist International recruited about half its American spies during the Cold War.
