Trying to Hit a Moving Target

"....militaristic or worse" is an insult to all who have served in our nation's armed forces. I was drafted 10 days after graduating from high school in 1943 & was a B-17 bombardier.

With a university degree in journalism, I was editor of a Florida newspaper & Tampa Tribune's "Florida Editor of the Week' for activism against the Klu Klux Klan. I was recalled for the Korean War & flew 52 combat missions returing home with leg injury, non-combat; twisted walking in mud between our tents. I remained in the USAF for a total of 32 yrs so you could have the right to denigrate the very people who made it possible for you to make such an egregious comment. Col.Ret., Ubique
