MSNBC: Hamas Rockets Actually Don't Do That Much Damage You Know

If Israel wanted their land they would simply take it. Their armaments are, by your own admission, far superior. They could control all of Gaza in a few days. They don't want their land, though, they want peace. But how can you have peace with folks whose express purpose is to drive you into the sea or exterminate your people? And those aren't just words, they try to accomplish these "goals" continually. Hamas is the aggressor, the Israeli government has an obligation to protect their citizens. If you bring a knife to a gun fight and still chose to attack, not only are you stupid, you're dead.

Over the weekend in an interview with Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren, MSNBC host Mara Schiavocampo suggested rocket attacks "rarely do damage" as Israel continues to be under siege from Hamas militants and as millions of Israelis are camped out in bomb shelters.

“Living under the threat of rocket attack is certainly a psychological trauma. But what would you say to those who argue that the rockets are essentially very ineffective, they rarely do damage and that the response from Israelis is disproportional to the threat they’re under.”
