The emphasis on dense urban areas is what is killing our nation. The population should be encouraged to spread out, which promotes independence and self-reliance. You would see an immediate shift in voting patterns. Frank Lloyd Wright, as usual, had it exactly right - read up on his Broadacre City concept. As long as inner cities remain the urban hellholes so many of them are, they will be dominated by the thuggish corruption that is progressivism.

Coming from pathetic Patriotic/American Liberal, I should consider your condemnation high praise! Sorry, chump (your favorite vituperative label), but as an architect, this is one subject I know well.
Exurban people are grounded in hard work, individual responsibility and faith in One greater than themselves, which mean they hold conservative values and are productive.
Inner city dwellers believe they are victims, expect handouts, and blindly submit to political authority in order to keep the gravy train flowing, which mean they are the true "gullible morons" enabling their progressive overlords.

So where does your state fall on the most conservative list? According to a new Gallup poll released yesterday, Alabama was the most conservative state in 2012. A little over half of Alabama residents identify as conservatives. Not far behind, tied for second most conservative, are Wyoming and North Dakota with 48.6 percent.

At the other end of the scale is Washington, DC, with more than 40 percent of their residents identifying as liberals. Another 10 percentage points behind DC was the runner up, Massachusetts and Oregon not far behind the bay state.

And Alaska reported having...
