An Open Letter to my Black Evangelical Friends

It is so sad that so many would let their ignorance of the true Christianity practiced by Latter-day Saints blind them. All "Mormons" are Christians. If Mormons are not Christians, there is not one Christian left on the face of the earth. Not one. If Barack Obama won reelection due to so-called Christians refusing to vote for Mitt Romney because he is a Latter-day Saint, Lucifer won a big victory last week.

Mormons are not Christians. They follow a false prophet.

Galatians 1: 6-9

6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

What is sad is that you are part of the problem, without enlarging the infamy of satan.
BTW: Lucifer doesn't exist anymore, since the devil was kicked out of heaven by God Almighty, his lowly name is satan.
Why not muster up some courage and do a study of Christianity--the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and then do one on Mormonism.
If you still come to the same conclusion, that there is no difference, then have yourself evaluated for a learning disability.

Mormonism /= Christianity. While the LDS use words with the same spellings, the concepts they use those words to refer to are _radically_ different, foundationally opposed, to the Bible on which Christianity is based.

Mormonism is an esoteric religion in which the 'true' or 'deeper' meanings, rituals, and doctrines are hidden from the rank and file(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6udew9axmdM) Thus many sincere but deceived persons, perhaps like yourself, Akenna55, are confused. I have at least one good friend who is a devout Mormon and a very dear person, but however much I and my family care for her the beliefs of her temple are alien to the Bible, and against Christ.

What's sad is that I, a proud active Heathen, voted for Romey because BHO was abhorant to me yet "Christians" voted for BHO.

Yeah..good thing you " around christians..they will answer one day.

I am not writing this letter to accuse but rather to advance understanding. And even though I am white, I am not writing as an outsider but as a fellow evangelical, part of the same spiritual family. May I pose some candid questions?

Are you guilty, on any level, of blind allegiance to the Democratic party? And, on Election Day, did any of you compromise your convictions out of racial solidarity?

I have been very open in my criticism of white evangelicals, pointing out how we often put our trust in the Republican party and how we look to the latest...
