AIG wasn't that under Bush? The US is not a Christian nation, it is majority (at least a majority claim they are)Christian, but those aren't the same are they? Muslims have been in the US since the earliest days--even pre-dating the formation of the United States, so yes, they have always been part of the fabric of the US just as other groups have as well.
