Jackson was brilliant at times, but the comment of "Jackson standing there like a stonewall" at 1st Bull Run by Bee was probably not meant to be a compliment but rather "look at that jacka** standing there with his finger up his behind." His Valley Campaign though...pure brilliant. Stuart though has be roundly blamed for going off and leaving Lee blind at Gettysburg.
