The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout and apparently bit the Speaker of the House. Ms. Pelosi had a delusional moment the other day, but she was clear on one thing. She never intended to listen to any Republican suggestions regarding the health care bill.
Close observation of the Bipartisan Health Care Summit provided clarity within the first half hour that there was not much bipartisan here. After listening to President Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi, it was obvious that there was no way that they were going to overhaul their 2,400 page (or is it 2,600)...

They do and every tax cut from JFK, to Reagan to Bush shows this and when taxes are raised revenue actually falls and here is why. When I get to keep more of my own money an individual, I can spend it (which due to the multiplier effect creates even more spending), I can save it, which is then put out as loans (again the multiplier effect) or invest it such as buying stocks companies use to expand which causes more workers to be hired, etc. As a business when I get to keep more money, I can hire more people, expand operations to earn more profits and on and all of these causes more growth and more more income coming back to the government.
