A gallup poll just out..53% of independents want her to go away. 41% said they were not at all likely to vote for Palin in 2012 if she were to run and if you add the 13% of not likely to vote for Palin, it is over 50%. 25% of Republicans are not at all likely or not likely to vote for her in 2012 and 81% of Democrats.

She is going to cash in her 15 minutes of fame. She won't be running in 2012 or 2016 or ever. Hitch your wagon to another star people.

In many conversations with middle-of-the-road and liberal friends, I’ve talked until I’m blue in the face about identifying myself and the organization I work for as conservative rather than Republican. This doesn’t stop them from saying “But you guys had eight years to fix things” any time I bring up the conservative viewpoint or solution to an issue. We have to accept that to a lot of people outside of the movement, conservative and Republican will always be synonymous.
