Akin: “The Liberal Media is Trying to Make Me Drop Out"

Are you kidding? The only people who want this bozo to drop out are the right wing liars and hypocrites who so desperately conceal their eighteenth century views on women's health issues. Paul Ryan, for example, will now be asked about his cosponsorship of not one, but two readically anti-abortion measures with Tod Akin since 2009. There may still be some women misguided enough to vote Republican now, but by November, there'll be far fewer.

Sorta like the left wingers calling Obama a "centrist" and "moderate," huh?

Abortion is not the top issue - you guys will fail at making ti the top issue.

People won't go to the polls thinking about this...they'll rethink about O's dismal record and incompetence and divisiveness, not some senator nobody heard of until two days ago.

What's "radical" about wanting the unborn to live?

Seems pretty extreme to want to kill babies.

I'm going to flatter you by giving your frivolous post a serious answer. It's not necessarily radical to wish to preserve "the unborn", as you put it. However, it's distinctly radical to wish to do that in cases of rape or incest, or when continuing a pregnancy puts the mother's health at risk.
Furthermore, you betray your ignorance by calling the unborn fetus a "baby'. This is medically and scientifically incorrect and betrays your lack of understanding of the issues involved.
Finally, having taken part in many of these procedures during my career in medicine, I can assure you that no one "wants" to terminate a pregnancy! The fact that you characterize it that way shows how little you understand what's involved.

The mind reels:

The following is a list of so-called “liberals” who have urged Congressman Akin to step aside: Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Reince Priebus, Hugh Hewitt, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Karl Rove, Mitch McConnell, Richard Burr, Kelly Ayotte, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, the NRSC, the editors of the National Review, and just about every living former
