I applaud the NRA! Finally, some common sense, and suggestions that absolutely WILL protect school children without stomping on the rights of free adults. The only problem of course, is that too many in America believe banning guns will somehow make everybody safer.

I agree with most of your post aj59, except for the last sentence. I know that there are a LOT of people in America these days who believe banning guns will make everybody safer, but I'm not sure they have the majority, at least not yet. Of course, our public schools are doing everything they can to demonize guns and reinforce the false ideology that "guns are bad". The public schools are part of the problem, not the solution. I liked what Wayne had to say, as well as Asa Hutchinson. I know a lot of progressives plugged their ears and will go on with their same, failed, belief system intact.
