Barack Obama billed his White House beer summit Thursday to discuss the altercation between the black Harvard professor and the white policeman as a "teachable moment."
But, unfortunately, I'd doubt that the real lesson to be learned ever came up over those beers and pretzels.
Can we appreciate that what seems to be an endless conversation about race in America is really a conversation about America, period?

I wish I could believe that the conversation in the White House garden was about the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States....

'Beer summit' should have been about freedom
You Betcha! Some slimey SOB planning to wipe us out, I will kill!
The question is, will the current commander in chief, who swore to defend our country, have the gonads to kill? To uphold our constitution? Does he love the USA? Based on all his hate America education and all his hate America speeches, I don't think so. So if he isn't going to defend us, guess what? It will be up to all of us gun lovin' conservatives that will fight for you again. That is love of country!
