That being said, Bush left the White House over a year ago. Democrats have controlled Congress for 3 years now. Any Republican policy that was wrong-headed or foolish they have had plenty of time to dismantle. But they haven't done that; all they've done is get rid of conservative policies that were working. The liberal policies that take over industries, overspend, and interfere with the market are all still in place and their funding has been increased by an order of magnitude. Will the auto bailouts never end? Why does the UAW now have a controlling interest in GM/Chrysler while the holders of secured bonds were forced to take far less than the contractual obligation on their investments?
