It's tenets, not tenants, and your analysis of supply-side theory is taken from sound-bites and speculation. Every time someone said "deficits don't matter" they were deviating from supply-side theory. Supply-side theory does not suggest that lower taxes will wipe out deficits. All it says is that lower taxes will stimulate the economy and improve GDP growth. Increase of revenue to the Federal Treasury is a side benefit, but the inverse relationship between the two is not linear. It is a bell curve.

If you're familiar at all with the Laffer curve, the extreme ends are very low taxation and very high taxation. In the middle is the optimum tax rate that yields the greatest revenue. Lower taxation will further stimulate the economy...
