I absolutely could not care less what city israel designates as its capital........but I did find it somewhat interesting that, during the debates, Mr Pander, Romney said that, immediately after taking office he would move our ambassy to Jerusalem. Now, with Romney, you never have any idea whether he means what he says but, if he DID do this, so much for "small gov't", reduced spending, fiscal reponsibliity, reducing the deficit etc etc etc

No. I'm surprised you need this explained to you, since it's pretty simple. The proposed plank in the Democrat platform was essentially saying that the capitol of Israel is where Israel says it is, which is Jerusalem. Since no one is denying Burkina Faso's right to place their capitol anywhere they choose, it's not really necessary to put it in any party platform. Does that make sense now, or do I need to rephrase, with shorter words?
