I grow tired of the ridiculous comparison of ssm to the civil rights movement and interracial marriage. You have apples and oranges. There is no difference between a Black, White, Asian, Jewish....etc person. But there is a 180 degree difference between a male and female. Human beings are human beings. Sexuality is a desire that gives impetus to a behavior. There in lies the distinction. Having a certain sexual desire does not mean that you are discriminated against because the law doesn’t allow the behavior you desire to exercise. All good laws discriminate against behaviors not people. If you want to make laws based on sexual desires then you certainly have to include pedophilia, polygamy,.etc. Gay activist have successfully used this

That's what's coming next, your last point about polygamy and so on. Moreover, the whole "SSM" business is supremacist in nature, with the insistence that radical gay activists' Greenwich Village/San Francisco "values" completely replace traditional Judeo-Christian morality. We are already seeing this scenario at play with respect to Muslim Brotherhood proxies/fronts such as CAIR, ISNA, etc., who seek to impose Islamic Shariah law on this country to replace our own laws, codes, customs, et al. - and yelling "bigot" when anybody stands against their encroachment on our society.

What happens to people of faith who support traditional marriage after the legal definition of marriage is redefined as anything other than a union between one man and one woman? Simple: Their views, I assure you, will be deemed “intolerable” -- and the state will feel compelled to act.
