bonny, you asked who taught me to be biased against liberals. It was a protestant evangelical/fundamentalist preacher.

Well ole I had loads of KRAP fed to me in chruch by well meaning preachers, but I chose the road less traveled, and have never looked back.

I certainly don't 'hate' them or anyone else for my lack of descernment.

Keeps you living in the past.........that's not progressive now is it?

Merry Christmas & Happy Chanukah!

There's plenty of krap from all kinds of sources. Real love and understanding is easy to recognize and I don't see a lot of it from many believers or non-believers or gov't either.

My wife is recovering from surgery and in her medicated haze she says to me "I'm sorry to bother you with asking you to do so much." I say back to her "Hey, after all you've done as a mother and wife, this is just payback time." Which reminds me about that story I told a while back - An ancient copy of Genesis was found...turns out God created woman first, said it is not good that woman be alone, created dog. Then he created man - somebody had to pick up the poop.

From the moment Americans learned of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre last Friday, the entire left -- editorialists, columnists, broadcasters, politicians -- used the occasion to promote one idea: gun control.

For the left, the primary reason for just about all American gun murders is the availability of guns.

I have no interest in debating gun control here. I only wish to ask the left one question: We have a massive system of drug control laws. Yet, the left is the first to argue that the war on drugs has been a failure. And whether or not one deems...
