Before we were married, we talked about five children. After we were married, we decided on three. Ha. The third pregnancy produced twins. Then some years later, well that fifth child was born. Were we hysterical. No did we chose to murder a twin or the surprise, of course not. We adapted and made sacrifices. All five are good, productive citizens.

When I told my liberal neighbor that the baby was going to be two. Her reply, "I'd never have twins." I wonder what she would have done, since at the time we didn't find out that there were two until a few weeks before they were born.

All strong good parents know that it isn't about them, a concept that is foreign in the current narcissistic culture.
