I am not buying into the suggestion of "getting in touch" with the minorities. They're are a lot of minorities in the Republican Party. President Bush had more minorities in positions of authority than any other President before him. Out here, in California, the minorities did not vote for Obama or for Senator Feinstein. Check it out.
Mike, you are right. I checked every single county in California, to see who re-elected Senator Diane Feinstein; she was re-elected in the rich cities, while the poorest countys voted for Elizabeth Emken. The entire Central Valley voted for Emken. Feinstein rarely shows her face here. This is the rich agricultural land, where we still have 40-64% unemployment in some areas. Most of those areas are Hispanic. You really ought to do a story on that; you would find that most Hispanics in CA, are Republicans or changed their vote from Democrat to Republican. People can have any opinon they want, if they are on the outside looking in but, if you live in the midst of it, you know the TRUTH.
No, my dear snookems, if you look at the percentages, it was almost 50/50. You cannot argue with the math. The country is still divided. Why is it that, in California, Senator Feinstein won huge, in the rich cities but lost in every poor county?
Thanks for the invitation but conservative Californians aren't going anywhere near Harry Reid. They are moving to Texas and Arizona.
