Tag line to the joke about why George Zimmer was fired, they didn't like the way he looked. He is not a young "boy-toy" or "stud" that other clothing companies are using for their "public face." They sell SUITS. Most of the "targeted and highly desired consumer group" (20-somethings with money to spent) DON'T buy suits!!! Men in their 30s and up, men like Mr. Zimmer, buy suits. Bad decision. Next quarter, going to start losing ground with "Men's Warehouse" while K&G with their "edgy" urban styling, will become the more prominent brand, but will not make-up the difference.
Opps, I left out a line... Mrs. Pelosi has EXCOMMUNICATED herself by her continued willful and UN-repentant sinning.
One nagging thing, from my study of Catholic theology days when preparing to be a Catechist (one who teaches the Catechism to children). Through WILLFUL and UNREPENTANT (repeated with out remorse) sinning, we have "ourselves" excommunicated ourselves from full communion with "Mother Church." One can go to the Catechism of the Catholic Church to look up the specifics, but a public "rite of excommunication" exists more in Hollywood movies, and maybe some cloistered congregations of religious. Mrs. Pelosi, through her actions (and in-actions) continues to cause scandal among Christians, and "People of Goodwill" (meaning non-Christians) everywhere. Heck! She's not even a very good Girl Scout, her words cannot be trusted and she fails to use her resources and talents wisely.
Actually, that is sometimes the BEST thing to tell someone that is suicidal (from someone that once was). "Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem." That no matter HOW you do it, there will be a mess, someone you love will be the one that "finds" your dead body, and that will haunt them. If you have kids, or have friends with little kids, it would be the kid that finds you. Do you really want that? Do you really want your close friends to clean up your blood, brains and gore??? It is the some self-centered action someone could do. Lots of teens do it thinking, "this is how I will get back at you" to the adults in their short lives that failed (perception or reality) them. Again, it is never one size fits all.

"The GREAT DIVIDER" We must heed the words of Benjamin Franklin, "We must hang together, gentlemen...else, we shall most assuredly hang separately." There is ever MORE that unites us, the "regular citizens" not the political or chattering classes, democrat, republican, liberal and conservative, we have MORE in common and must bridge and stand together, else the forces of tyranny and evil prevail.
"If they don't believe what the Church teaches, they're not really Catholic" Archbishop Charles Joseph Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. So true, so true.

I was never FREE, there were fees involved and the "healthy" surplus in the State treasury helped. Back when California was a "Golden State." This is why the "hippie" and communist inspired Leftist movements took root in the "composts of the University of California system. If you aren't out $$$ for skipping classes, you don't care about the costs. When you aren't paying $$$ for the privilege to attend classes in buildings, well you just "occupy" and turn classrooms, labs, offices and libraries into squatters villages.

One of the auxiliary bishops for the U.S. Military Archdiocese was the son of a Cristeros, who witnessed a what the Mexican Government did. My base was within his area of responsibility, and we both went numerous time on the Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes. That was where he told a group of us about his background and how he came to be a priest. At the time, I thought this was all "history" and could never happen again. But it isn't history, and not only can it happen again; it is happening again.
