The stimulus IS a failure. Period. End. We are still hovering at more than 9% unemployment. Why did it fail? Because it didn't allow for businesses to lick their wounds and for consumers to act as they naturally would. Republicans didn't cause the stimulus to fail. Simple economics did. Dumbledore would have asked historians if similar policies were tried and if they worked. Answer: Failure under Hoover, then FDR and in Japan in the 1990's and early 2000's. Let's try what Harding and Coolidge did: cut taxes and spending.

Marriage rates have plummetted in Europe after same-sex marriage has been instituted. Marriage is essentially a dead institution as people are engaging in cohabitation instead of marriage. Hence it isn't a laughable claim, but reality. As for the end of America or civilization, ever heard of Rome? Civlizations have fallen many times in history. IF someone is to be laughed at, it is you for ignoring very basic history.

Bush has made no comment on Obama's administration until now and in fact praised him for the killing of that Arabic REAL HITLER, Osama bin Laden. It's called class. Bush '43 was called Adolph HItler many times by Leftists, when OBL is a real version of Hitler which they then refused to call him as such. Palin got blamed for the massacre with no justification whatsoever. She was right to defend herself and to wait to respond after she received the facts. She was right to point out that the Left engaged in a libel against her on the basis of complicity of murder or as she put it a "blood libel." If she made no response, she would have been acting in complicity with the Leftists who made such ridiculous accusations against her. So she had no choice, but to make a vocal response as a written response would NOT have sufficed in potency and clarity.

We should get rid of the Dept of Agriculture and have NO farm subsidies. None. Boehner actually opposes any further subsidies. As for the TEA Party, yes, they are shaking the power elites in their boots. That's why McConnell & Boehner are talking about cuts in spending & why Bachmann set up the TEA Party Caucus.

He is from MA, a solid Blue state. Hence he will go along w/the Democrats on many issues.

Actually we did vote on Civil Rights. It was voted on in the Congress via a series of civl rights laws, not via judicial fiat. Still there is no right to get married, nor is there is a right to serve in the military openly. These aren't needs either, so they are just wants. The gay "rights" movement should be called the gay-wants movement, because they are just interested in wants. & Frankly if something is NOT in the US Constitution such as marriage definition, then per the 9th & 10th Amendments & US Congress it is up to the states and popular voting.
