MikeR,

We worked with Kimberly when she sent us the abuse at CampusReform.org.

All students are required to take "Foundations of Civic Engagement" and a University Colloquium that covers global warming in order to graduate.

I can't comment on why Kimberly is in college or what she hopes to achieve from college. However, Florida Gulf Coast University, a public school, forces all students to take these classes in order to graduate.

Great post! Thanks for highlighting a leftist abuse from our site. Sadly, Kimberly is one of many students that's fighting entrenched liberal bias on campus.

Visit CampusReform.org and see other examples of leftist abuses. Now through October 31, we're highlighting 1 leftist abuse each day. So far, we've seen abuses in Texas, Connecticut, Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, New York, California, and Massachusetts.

It's not just happening at schools in Florida at Ivy League schools. It's happening everywhere, and schools won't stop until alumni, parents and students stand up.

Scooter,

Great column. At CampusReform.org, we're seeing a lot of interest in groups that promote free markets and individual liberty.

While there are large numbers of traditional social conservative college students who are active, libertarians are attracting students who don't fall into Evangelical or social conservative ranks.

It's important for young Americans on the right side of the political spectrum to rally together under the principles of liberty. As the New Media Director at CampusReform.org, I see far too many infringements of students' First Amendment rights. In order combat these abuses, all liberty-loving students need to boldly confront liberals on their campuses, and not be afraid to voice their...

A Fallen Wall for Fallen Man

On Monday, conservative and libertarian students at more than 40 colleges across the US will hold campus activism events observing the fall of the Berlin Wall through an activism event at CampusReform.org.

The average college freshman is too young to remember the events in 1989, so it is critical that their peers reach out to them. Students will be "rebuilding" the wall with the 10 planks featured in the Communist Manifesto.
