I seriously doubt there’s time to get a viable third party together by Nov 2010 or even 2012. The last successful third party was the Party of Lincoln in the 1850s. The third presidential candidate movements since then, were really just third man movements that either fell apart or went back to being a marginal party as before. Far easier to retake the republican parties local units. We do however do need to responsibility and then take action.
The notion that nobody outside Washington is eagerly awaiting 2010 just shows how clueless people inside the beltway are.
