The O'pocalypse Now

I was just yelling at my husband about this as I was reading the article. On the topic of Solyndra, every lib commentator will say Bush approved it first. I was disappointed that John didn't include that important point, and I am grateful that you did. It will have to be repeatedly stated because libs are just that persistent in their lies.
The practices of the EPA will result in Equal Poverty for All.
"For all these reasons, having nothing to do with gay marriage, black churches should have broken with the Democratic Party long ago." Could it be due to the same disconnect that exists in white democrats? Friends of ours, a teacher married to a lawyer, have just plopped their Obama-2012 sign on their lawn, despite the fact that they think the same way we do, they live the same conservative principles, they value family, they are fed up with the welfare system. When Mr. Lawyer says casually in passing with an eye roll, "Sarah Palin is just willfully ignorant", I just shake my head. They are soooo smart. Multiply them by millions and it makes you pretty sick.

Another excellent column, Mr. Fontova. "Leave it to a history department chairman to recite the Castro-concocted talking points on Che Guevara almost flawlessly." It makes me wonder if history degrees are worthless at all colleges. The only thing a history major from U of N could do is get a worthless PhD and teach the same twisted version of the field.

head and wonder where it will end. Yes, everyone can contribute something, and charity should be the helping hand for our truely needy folks.

head and wonder how long this can go on. The truely needy would be best helped by charity, not the government, and yes, everyone can contribute something.

Dear Mother-First, Happy Mother's Day! You are so beautifully correct! I have an adult special needs daughter. She falls into the catagory of disability, in which she has no choice. She doesn't know one needs money to survive. She doesn't realize if she crosses the busy street to see tractor or an EMS vehical, she may be run over. She doesn't know what SSI is. The system that has been created by gov't to 'help' our truely needy, is insulting and results in rooms of adult day car, with no learning, after layers of waste. There is money to be made by people who provide this non-stimulating care. When I then see the other side of the coin, people who, with lawyers help, apply many times for their little pot of gold, I just shake my
I worry that the few of us that read TH and similar minded writings will not extrapolate into enough votes to drain the swamp (thank you, NP for that wonderful term, but now I want to drain *your* swamp). There are many people who are still led by the slanderous sound bytes, that they burp up, while thinking they sound so intelligent. People who I know, who live by the kind of conservative values that I live by, will worry about the subversion of the TEA Party. They are truely hopeless, and have no capacity for logical thought, demonstrated by the disconnect of living a responsible life and voting in marxists and democrats. I am left thinking to myself: please let there be more of me than thee.
This article assumes that people vote with some degree of intelligence and reasoning. The shallow reasoning behind electing Clinton ("he is so charming", said one of my friends) and Obama ("he is so eloquent and funny", another acquaintance), coupled with the disconnect, doesn't leave me with the same optimism for O's defeat.
