Uh yeah, when you're dealing with an evil regime that supports terrorism, oppresses it's own people, desires our destruction and lies. Getting nothing tangible in return, other than hopeful future outcomes, is repeating the feckless diplomacy of Neville Chamberlain.
Pretty callous. Guess you prefer all humanitarian work to be done in dangerous places.......How? Pardon me.......You probably think it's an internal matter in Iran, so we shouldn't care about their people.
Not so loaded if you read the article. The administration didn't even bring up Abedini's situation. Really?........We got virtually nothing tangible in return for this crappy deal, and they couldn't even bring up the case of ONE American that is stuck there being tortured?

Ditto. Especially on the 42% approval. Human nature doesn't change. There will always be cycles of naive/foolish efforts to build a utopian society. Never going to happen.......Not with human fallibility and and human sin.
Perhaps they should've called in Vlad. At least Putin has the balls & shrewdness to get something tangible in return from this crappy deal with Iran. We got nothing AND we're leaving a fellow American in Iran to be tortured. A pastor who went there to do humanitarian work. This administration is SHAMEFUL (I know......that's an understatement) .
I voted for McCain in 2008 because I thought that was the practical thing to do, in comparison to Obama. I WILL NOT do that again. I am done with voting pragmatically. Time to vote for real Conservatives and let the chips fall as they may. That may be the only way to get our country turned........Let Leftists or Democrat-Lite candidates govern until we have a cultural & fiscal crash. That may be the only thing that jars many fellow citizens out of their entertainment-obsessed, apathetic and ignorant stupor .
Ditto.
I didn't agree with some of his Compassionate Conservatism big govt policies, but a real decent man. Well spoken (in spite of his proclivity for misspoken words during speeches), funny & well read.....Too bad the press "painted" him as a rube. His is not.

Agreed. For once, I think BHO has been checkmated on using an Executive Order to carry out his political whims. He may still get away with EO's with the EPA, etc., but he's cooked on doing so with healthcare. There is finally enough visibility and public outcry in this one area for him to get away with it.

Ditto. Fantastic idea. Low info voters need visuals & emotional appeals, not a rational argument. They demonstrated in 2008 and 2012 that logic & empirical evidence (facts) do not sway them to vote rationally.
