Not his fault. What if he'd limited Arts and lawyer degrees. Many students have kept clear of difficult subjects and did not research future job requirements. Been enough written about it. That's why many people with BA's are looking for jobs selling shoes.
The debates sound great but we all know that it's the biased approach of the media that counts since it can go on day after day e.g. CNN Let's face it there are so many voters who would never think of listening to a three hour debate - a 3 hr. movie is a push- but will listen to snippets of dug up scandal from a news show. Debate for "three hours" and they can kill you with a day's comments on "a sentence." And a team will be researching it as you say it !

Gingrich and Immigration

I shudder to think what would have happened with some of our previous Presidents if given the scrutiny the media gives today. I am amazed that anyone is willing to run. I also wish that some media types like Blitzer and Cooper were given the same treatment.Who knows what woud be unearthed. We let the media influence us far too much in our selections.
Good !

They’re Coming for Our Balls

Actually, playgrounds can be dangerous places if there is no control of balls. Generally the rules only come when they are needed. You can have little kids or even bigger kids of varying heights running all over the place while softballs, baseballs are being thrown around in all directions. Remember a youngster almost losing an eye when it was hit with a hacky sack ball during that craze. If they're there, they'll be" thrown". Even golfballs appear. Not a stupid rule. Wait until someone sues the school as has happened when a Teach, Asst, was injured. It's often the parents who complain and the Parent Council that decides on the rule. Most rules go through a PC.

If Not Romney, Who? If Not Now, When

You think the media didn't know about Gingrich and Fannie May ? They build him up one day and shoot him down the next. Anything for controversy. They will spend their time destroying all Republica candidates until the only one left is the one they want. CNN, for instance, has already questioned whether Romney can be elected, since he's a Mormon. They would like to end up with him being the only candidate left then it's mission accomplished - no real opposition to Obama. Why does anyone run these days ? Doesn't it sicken you to think of media people sitting down at their computers and being told to dig up smut. Don't let them influence you.. You wait , if it's Romney ,see what they'll come with re the Mormon religion. Night after night of it .
What a ridiculous state of affairs. This is why the country is going to ruin. How can anyone govern with the constant threat of Recall hanging over them ? By doing what the unions want ? In a way I hope the recall is successful and they have to watch Wisconsin going bust..
We need to take notice and do something about it - BOTH Colin Powell and Gingrich have recently called out the media for wasting so much time on self manufactured controversies. They have faf far too much influence and why should they be able to make up our minds for us. They are biased, anyhow, being mostly Democrats.

Is Newt Gingrich the Real Deal?

If people would just spend some time LISTENING to their message instead of being influenced by what the media says. They shouldn't even b e allowed to pose questions. Select members of the public. Debates are in no way a fair picture unless one on one..

The Real Scandal

The media is to blame, particularly CNN. Any scent of scandal and they make sure they have their Breaking news for the next five days. I would love to see some" digging into" of past records of top media announcers/writers.
