The Obama Gaffe Machine Keeps Rolling

For all of you who continue to criticize Republican leadership, I think you are wrong. Look at how little mileage we have gotten out of Obama's direct ties to the New Party and Love Song for Saul Alinsky. Without the MSM on our side, our hands are completely tied. Republicans are walking a tightrope right now, trying to slow down this train wreck - but they only have one half of one third of the government. Anything dramatic they tried would be castigated nationwide in the media. Sometimes you just have to let the train wreck happen. And voters can now witness first hand that train wreck, and a lot of people think O is going to lose 45 states..

Fantasy... How can you possibly explain why "our" congress is doing nothing whatever to stop Obama's continued breaking laws, overriding congress and trashing the Constitution? .. They do nothing!

I just finished explaining it. Their hands are tied. They decry, they point out the contradictions, but sometimes you have to just sit back and watch the train wreck. Impeachment would never have worked. If it had, we'd be back where we were four years ago with a divided nation. There would be no mandate in Nov 2012. With a little luck and some smart leadership, 2013 will be the Reagan Revolution all over again.

...and the Dems could become a permanent minority party.

Bush had the bully pulpit, but was helpless against the MSM. What we are seeing may well be the only way that this could come down with America on top.

Do what's right, pass a responsible budget. Pass laws that die in the Senate, and LET THE TRAIN WRECK HAPPEN!

Fantasy,

agreed - sort of.

Bush, e.g., couldn't cross his eyes without the MSM having a Psycho Meltdown...

.... but no one told Bush to keep issuing regumalations like it was the end of the world

... no one told Bush he had to keep all the Dem's b/c they did work at six fig's that Rep's just won't do

... no one told Bush to let the Lib's court-martial our troops for FOW incidents

... no one told Bush to juice the housing mkt

... no one told Bush to bail B-Stearn and let Lehman fail

... no one told Bush to let Clinton's EO's/Reg's stand!

- my point is not to be unfair to Bushies - but POTUS has a lot of power.

I sort of think that at some point Bush gave up and said "let the train wreck happen." He couldn't wake Americans up. If' he'd been Paul Ryan, maybe. But with the press against you, it's an uphill climb.

Thank you Obama for your overreach. You have exposed all of the system's weaknesses, and in a few months, we'll begin to close those loopholes with a Republican Congress and a President who will use a few of your tricks against you. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I do not trust the Republicans to use any parlimentary procedures, let alone tricks, to get this country turned around. We will need to demand accountability on a daily basis with those bunglers, who have a habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. They think they're attending an afternoon tea party, when it's really a knife fight. What we need is a TEA Party, not a tea party, and if you will forgive a quote from Obama, "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."

If Obama blows his reelection bid, maybe he can apply for a gig with a late night talk show.

Sure, his jokes aren’t that funny, but I presume that most of what he saying now really is just a joke.

And perhaps between now and November the jokes will get much better.

They could get worse, but let’s hope for the sake of our country that they don’t get that much worse.

After months of Obama telling us “All is well, the recovery is finally beginning!” the country faces one of the most dramatic slowdowns in economic activity...
