The church's moral obligation was to can the priests and bundle them off to prison. There were many bishops who did not do their duty. No argument there. Where Catholics get sensitive is when they are singled out for obloquy by an organization like HBO that glorifies sin and promotes sinners in all of its other programs.

How many? And do you know the circumstances irrefutably? Do you know why Cardinal Law was assigned to Rome; instead of a kangaroo court?

NO, None of those things are known to you. You only assume incorrectly, that Brent Bozell, myself and many others of the faithful are simpletons who can't understand what sacreligious priests and unhappy altar boys MEAN in Christ's Holy Church. They are tragic events; the devil wants all the world to HATE the Catholic Church. And you Pharisees help that along.
