I like New Jersey. I have friends there. It has many pockets of exurban charm tucked away from the hideous highways, rusting refineries and simmering slums that define it in the mind of the casual visitor. Having said that, there is no real excuse for Christie's sabotage of Romney's campaign. Doesn't the Christie family have long ties with the Rockefeller organization? The northeastern establishment has had as its main goal the establishment of a global government with itself in control. Their principal enemy has been main-street America, with the Constitution as a stumbling block. No wonder Christie, Cuomo et al. are so intent on abolishing the Bill of Rights.

For me New Jersey is the Joe Piscopo character asking anyone and everyone “Are you from Jersey? I’m from Jersey.”

Also, I’ve never seen the TV show “Jersey Shore,” but still I don’t like it. And know that I don’t want the rest of the country to resemble it, either.

It’s the state that elected...
