Atheists’ and Muslims’ Cross to Bear

Cheeze-ice-crust I'm sick of being lumped in with other schmucks as a "Christ-hating heathen". I'm an atheist. I don't hate Jesus of Nazareth. I will, at any time, and under any circumstances, (including being blind stinking drunk), compare, point by point, YOUR system of morals and ethics and MY system of morals and ethics and DEFY you to point out any differences. Save one. MINE follows simply from the nature of Man as Man. YOURS, (apparently), you wouldn't HAVE if you hadn't gone to church. I don't NEED Judeo-Christian philosophy to know that SIX of the Ten Commandments are SIMPLE COMMON SENSE!!!! (The other four may be laudable, but hey, I AM an atheist...) Judeo-Christian philosophy is NOT the do-all and end-all of MORALITY!!!

"I am not primarily an advocate of capitalism, but of egoism; and I am not primarily an advocate of egoism, but of reason. If one recognizes the supremacy of reason and applies it consistently, all the rest follows." Ayn Rand I leave it to you to decide whether or not your religious practices are 'reasonable'. All other Objectivist-inspired thoughts and actions in your life need not suffer from these practices. Of course, I don't speak for any other 'Objectivist' -type people. I can't deny the power of your religion in your life. And you can't argue the power of my atheism in mine. Why do people even bother??? Of all the things that people can disagree over, religion seems to be the one that brings out the most 'intolerance'.

Thank god someone finally pointed this out. You can take pretty much ALL of Objectivism, as it relates to human interaction, and apply it, for your own profit, in your own life, without EVER getting into the issue of whether or not god exists. I wish Paul Ryan had figured that out, before he went and made the *ludicrous* comment that the Objectivist philosophy was "atheist"... For god's sake, ARITHMETIC is 'atheist'. Do you fail to use THAT in your everyday life???
Oh, come on. It's so blatantly obvious, I can't be the ONLY person who noticed this...
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but, being someone who has done EXEMPLARY telephone tech support over the years, (and therefore, have a certain talent for 'visualizing' what my customer might be doing at the time, such as reading the newspaper, or watching a YouTube video when I'm trying to help them,), I can say this with relative certainty. I'd bet on it. The Soptic guy is READING his statement from a prepared text. I'd bet whatever I've got in my pocket for whatever you have in your pocket any day. It's essentially a 'scripted' phone call...
