On veterans' day, the president puts a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier and thereby honoring all who sacrificed their lives for Americans.

I think that the living veteran is forgotten and pushed under the water when our day comes around. wouldn't it be more appropriate to visit a veterans hospital and pin a medal on those that also sacrificed in a lesser manner?
