Repeating myself one last time: The "jobs" report is fiction. I'll tell you how I know. I'm a bookkeeper at a truckstop. Trucks are the front line economic indicator. If you got it, a truck brought it. We see slowdowns well before any analysts get a chance at the numbers. If this economy suddenly produced 873,000 jobs in one month, I would have seen the uptick in fuel sales last month at the latest. But, instead of uptick, we have spiraling down. A few months ago, we lost forty thousand dollars a day in fuel sales and we have never recovered. And freight is slower now than it was in September, which was slower than August, which was slower than July, etc. This "jobs report" is as bogus as Owebambi himself.
The jobs report prepared by the Bureau of Labor Statistics had mixed news today. Job growth was mediocre - only 114,000 new jobs were added in September, which isn't even enough to keep up with population growth. The top-line unemployment number fell to 7.8% and there was actually an increase in the labor force participation rate.

The biggest news consisted of revisions to previous reports. BLS revised the previous two months up by almost 100,000 total jobs (there were 40,000 more jobs added to August and 44,000 jobs added to July).
