This is a bridge too far. Be sure to write your Senators and Representatives even if you know they support gun rights. They're going to need to know beyond all doubt you're support for your constitutional rights. Use 'em or lose 'em.

The Role of 'Educators'

A nuclear attack on this country would be the ultimate opportunity-creating crisis. Unprecedented destruction and chaos will be used by statists for unprecedented power grabbing and centralizing of power. That's why rerouting America's defense dollars to liberal programs are a win-win for Democrats. They insist our unilateral disarmament will prove to an innocent world that America, the world's chief evil-doer, is a threat no more. And even if that proves mistaken and we get nuked, they'll insist everything about America that went beforehand is to blame and they'll claim a mandate to rewrite American law and culture from the ground up. Hence a strong, secure America is libs' worst nightmare.

Girls With Guns

If there's anything better than a girl armed with a gun it's a girl armed with the facts, and Ms. Herzog sounds like she's both.
If we can actually talk about the article content for a moment . . . if you can't protect it, it isn't yours regardless of what we're talking about. There are exceptions but this is a good truism. Consider your house. A locked front door is your first line of defense, but failing that you have a secondary defense: insurance, receipts, titles, etc. as legal weapons to defend your property. Likewise when it comes to our lives, we also need a first line of defense such as firearms. It isn't good enough to tell me that there's a secondary defense only such as laws against murder - "Don't worry - if someone stabs you to death we'll put them in jail." The right to self-defense is integral to property rights. The two cannot be separated.
Well, on the bright side maybe all these Nazi-wannabe gun grabbers will decide to throw big ammo burning parties in the street and end up blowing themselves up.
Don't expect confiscation - expect something more "legal" like an insanely high weapons tax along the lines of $2,500 per weapon and retroactive back to 2008. That way the president can hypocritically mouth the words "I support the 2nd Amendment" while committing a financial massacre against all the conservative gun owners in the country. Face it - what's easier and what would help Democrats more: outright confiscation and all its constitutional challenges, OR a tax so large it would force you to turn in your own weapons and financially break you so you'd have no money to fund non-Democrat candidates for many years if ever again?

"#1 priority"... hilarious! Ask Joe and I'll bet he'll tell you Dems are committing the next two weeks to study banning that three-letter nemisis - guns.
