E, how do you think he got elected in the first place? Tea Partiers , according to the lib intelligencia, couldn't have elected anybody because they didn't have enough numbers to do so. If Scott thinks he can retain his office without sticking by the principles that first put him in office, and trying to pander to the liberal base, he will suffer a rude reality in the next election, perhaps in the primaries.

He will force a choice between his luke-warm Conservatism and a Liberal, and so may retain office. I hope he does win, again, since the way it works, a true Conservative might not unseat an incumbent.
