Valerie Jarrett said in a high school commencement speech that her favorite philosopher was Mao! What are we coming to?

Having taught school 30 years -- mostly high school -- I can say that adolescent views of sexual morality did appear to change for the worse after Clinton's inexcusably nauseating actions came to light. Our leaders need to be held responsible for failing to show righteous examples. Parents need to show by their own good examples and teach youngsters that they must love and respect one another and stand up against their peers when those peers do wrong. Raising and teaching children requires courage and discipline. In the end children will respect and appreciate good parents.

Obama seems totally unconcerned about approval or non-approval. The only thing that will stop his rush toward "fundamental change"" (aka socialism and redistribution) would be impeachment OR The House of Representatives. He needs to be reminded constantly that the MONEY starts and stops with those pesky republicans in the House. Our founders were geniuses. Children in school and politicians need to be periodically reminded where the power is.
I voted for Romney because he is right and Obama is wrong. It had nothing to do with race. Racism has not place in our politics. .

Obama is first and foremost a liar. But even more disturbing is that his ideology is so diametrically opposed to our free enterprise system. He is determined to make us all dependent on government handouts -- "spreading the wealth around." Thomas Sowell's analyses are so valuable becuase he understands the economy and how the world works and why Obama's ideas are so harmful. Those of you who still trust Obama need to check the historical facts on why socialism and pacificsm do not work and never have.

Chris, if you are so smart why don't you run? And...did you earn over $200,000,000 from scratch? Did you save and make profitable many, many failing businesses? Did you save the Olympics, spend unlimited hours to help the needy and down-trodden and give millions and millions to charity? Be careful whom you fang.

I was a realtor when all this "everyone deserves a home" nonsense came along -- starting with Bill Clinton. I know that many buyers had only to be able to fog up a mirror to get a loan -- resulting in bad loans and the housing bust. I think Romney will be willing to let the free market system work as it should.

Chris Rock's Tweet Beyond the Pale

Our attitudes have come so far in this country in a fairly short time. Rock needs to find something else more relevent and meaningful to joke about. Certainly there is a small percentage of racists in this country but they are of all colors. By the way, isn't it just as racist to vote for a black man just because he is black as to vote for a white man just because he is white? I, as my friends, do not care about the color of a person's skin but about the content of his character and his policies. Obama's pitting one race against another for political gain is unforgivable.
