ODDS of 2 to 1: Keys to 2010 Victory

In order to be palatable to voters who are not die-hard conservatives, the Republicans must still nominate clean, attractive, experienced candidates who can articulate reasonable platforms that will help to solve the problems foisted upon us.

Where is our clarion call equivalent to the 1992 Contract with America?
We have made a huge disconnect between voters and taxpayers by making the tax code more "fair" and far more progressive. With the percentage of voters who pay no taxes approaching 40% together with the useful idiots (who think the poor are owed help,) plus the government union workers, we are rapidly approaching the point where 50% of the voters actually want more government. If the Democrats can energize them all to register and then get out to actually vote (as he did a year and a half ago,) there will be a majority wanting higher taxes (on the rest of us) and more government and this country will be lost.

The Silent Killer: Obama's VAT Proposal

How about plan Obama to increase spending by 10% (more) and taxes by 20% from his new VAT.
Let's pick the first 18 names from the Boston (or any other city - large or small) telephone directory.

I hope that you meant when you notes the racist type of voter, you meant bot only the White who would vote against any Black but also the White liberal who is so ashamed of the prevailing culture in this country that s/he would reflexively vote for a Black candidate (strictly based on the candidate's race) and steadfastly deny that s/he was a "racist."

Liberals prefer to make "racist" a pejorative only to be applied to a White who might discriminate on the basis if race only to harm a member of another race. Preferential treatment of a minority to benefit them is not "racist" nor is any action by a non-White (in their minds) "racist."

Therefore it is difficult to have a rational discussion because they mean different...

Maybe the article should have said that a single mom should use "First Reader" to teach her children.
To me the worst part of the Republican leadership is that they reflexively support incumbent RINOs against reasonable conservatives in the primaries.

Why is it that her attackers could launch attacks for free? Is it not Alaska state law? Could she not, as governor, have requested that the legislature change this law to, either have the taxpayers or the attackers pick up costs of defense against baseless charges? Did she leave in place, a law that could be used to bankrupt any Alaska governor or any elected official? That does not seem like good governance to me.

Does she have the monetary assets to pay $500K to lawyers? Does anyone who was a small town mayor and short-term governor? Where did the $500K come from campaign contributors?

Tyler from WA:

I would not disagree that there are the same number of extremists per capita, which given that there are far fewer Muslims in the military than Christians makes the probability that a Muslim is an extremist far more likely than a Christian. Is it interesting, however, that the number of extremist Christians killing their fellow American soldiers seems far less than Muslims.

I would also wonder about your definition of sanity if any "sane" person would say that "conservatives are racist." If you mean that all human beings are racist and conservatives are human beings and therefore racist, I wonder what your post added to the discussion. I might suggest that some human beings are more overtly and openly...

Don't we need a living Bible just as we have a living Constitution; one that liberals can rewrite to their needs of the current day?
