Sorry I should have said "unfortunately that didn't include showing general respect for others".

Demasculation of America's Boys

I used to be married to one of these "lost boys" so I saw and still do, first hand, the consequences of being raised by a single mom who wasn't exactly the "poster mom" for raising a son. Now I am divorced because of his adultery and general bad attitude about women. I am raising my daughter with his help, when it is convenient for him. I spend a lot of time trying to counteract his influence. My advice to parents raising sons, remind them to love and respect all people, not because of what they look like. All parents should be raising both genders to be respectful of each other.

To the liberals: it is my experience that you are the ones not teaching manners and respect in the home. The rebellion of the 1960's and 70's was...

Rape Declines, Duke Responds

I know people who are Duke graduates and who live in the Durham area. They are extreme liberals who bury their heads in the sand. I have an ex-friend who is a double Duke graduate, undergrad and Masters, told me to stop communicating with her because of my conservative views and didn't agree with her about PrezBO. They just want to sweep anything bad under the rug while telling everyone that Duke is the "Harvard of the south." Typical liberals, it's all about the way it looks, no substance.

Republicans Get Rolled...And Deservedly So

I have never been worried about the speech. I've never planned on keeping my child out of school. I do plan to keep on eye on what assignment will be expected after the speech. My child has already told me that her Social Studies teacher voted for PrezBO. So, it's "whatever" is to follow that I plan on keeping my eye on. If my child loses even one point for having a conservative view in her work you better believe someone's head is going to roll! We need to remember that the teachers work for us and I make sure they are doing their jobs.

We've Been Had

How can the American people be so blind and fooled by the left? They voted these people into office and what, now are surprised that the President and his cronies are trying to pass this BS off as real and socialize/globalize everything they see and touch. Americans need to stop watching American Idol and start reading and maybe watching FNC, even much of what they do is worthless. Global warming has always been a farce, not science just politics. The earth is cyclical, always has been, always will be.

Brad from AZ you sound like a great guy but I disagree, there are not enough good men out there. That is the reason so many women share the opinion that Aniko has about men. I know that there are a lot of selfish women too but statistics show that over 90% of women abort because the men don't want any part of having a baby.

Aniko I understand what you are saying, even though I am very pro-life, I struggle with the reversal of R vs W only because I know it won't stop abortion. It'll just send women back to doing them illegally. Women were having abortions before they were legal, maybe not as often but it was still happening.

I agree with Dr. Adams here, although it's a little gory, good point. Abortion is murder, how...
When I looked at how much Joe Biden had contributed to charitable giving in 07/08, a little over $900.00 for the year, I thought wow, I contributed around $1200.00, mostly to my church, and I was then and still am unemployed. I knew then the type of people we are dealing with here.

As far as this speech goes, my daughter will go to school on Tuesday but has been told to watch it and understand we don't subscribe to most of the indoctrination process. I did go to the website and look at the activities and questions. I'm thinking I will have to make a call and e-mail if there is a low grade attached to her answers.

What really scares me is that no matter how sick el-Megrahi is, he could still very easily be responsible for plotting and killing more innocent people. Then again if he's a real radical Muslim, which seems to be the case, he may volunteer, since he's so "sick", to go blow himself and others up for the sake of his beliefs. Wrong move Scotland, good move California.

Kimbery,

TS is right on this one, science is not born of evidence it is actually born of faith because most of the "facts" are based on Theory's and Hypothesis. It is what a scientist believes, not what he really knows. Evolution has some evidence but there are huge gaps over time in what was actually discovered in fossils, which is what much of it is based on. You have been deceived, which is what Satan wants. He doesn't want anyone to know the truth. There is no way we could have come from a pile of sludge or dust particles. Where did the dust and sludge come from? Sorry, the Theories just don't hold up and that has been proven many times.

Look at medicine, how much of medicine is just a guessing game? Yes there is...

My ex and I did live in the same house during our divorce which took 2 years and we went to counseling while he was having one affair after the other. Lying to everyone we knew including the counselor. I am a Christian and spent more time on my knees praying than standing upright during that time. I still ended up divorced and because my ex wouldn't talk to me in the house, would wait until I got to work to call and scream at me, I lost my job. BTW I am a conservative who believes in family values, school vouchers, keeping government out of our pockets, etc... My child was in a Private Christian School until after the divorce, now I can't afford it, heck I can't even afford light bulbs much less private school. My point is that until...
