When Hillary came up with her program while Bill was in office, it contained a few clauses that even gave the Democrats pause. It had two clauses that counterdicted each other. If you met the requirements of one of them, you automatically broke the other one. A third clause stated that to finance the enforcement of the program, anyone who broke any part of it would have all their possessions stolen - I mean confiscated - to pay for it. Clinton himself said the idea was to use it to insure that anyone who might cause problems for the government was stripped of all possessions to prevent them from causing problems.

Anyone want to bet that these clauses won't be in Obama's health care plan???

At a committee hearing last week, Democratic Sen. Barbara Mikulski of Maryland provided a classic example of a morally bankrupt legislator seeking to insidiously force Americans to cooperate with and fund an objectively evil cause.

On Thursday, July 9, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee met to consider amendments to the legislation it is drafting to rearrange the entire U.S. health care system.

While chairing the hearing, Mikulski offered an obscurely worded, two-part amendment.
