Again, Dr. Sowell is correct. But too many people refuse to accept that they are wrong. For instance ... a hot burglary is one where the burglar enters a house KNOWING that people are at home. In the US less than 10% of such burglaries are hot. However, in England, knowing their victims are unarmed, approximately 90% are hot. The burglars WANT their victims to be at home so they can demand the victims give them the valuables without having to search for them. Do you want that here?
