Undoing the Brainwashing

I recognized this was going on early and trained my kids from the time they could walk and talk to think. One good way is to ask them what they think of some story on the news. Then explain things they don't know to them in a reasonable manner. They are almost always willing to listen, particularly since the young children alway tend to believe what Mom and Dad say. My middle son once joined the Democrat Club in college, to my surprise. When I asked why he had joined it, he said, "Well, they don't have a Republican Club. And this way I can see how they think and want to do." Today he takes college courses (Been out ten years) on internet. His favorite activities is to take the opposite stance on whatever the teacher is discussing and bring facts he looks up into play. He is well respected by his teachers, even though they disagree, simply because it is obvious that he is thinking.

Obama Is Stingy With His Pardons

Oblama is saving the pardons up to give his supporters as he leaves office so no one can punish them for all the law violations they are doing now.
All revolt comes from the middle class. So the safest thing to do from the standpoint of anyone who is in power who wants to remain in power is to eliminate the middle class. And the best way to do that is to encourage the poor to allow them to "take wealth away from the rich" ... meaning the middle class. Trust me, the rich have enough loopholes that there is no way anyone is going to touch their wealth.
"It's Like Saul Alinsky is Running the Country" You mean he isn't? When every one of the "President's advisors" graduated under him, I thought he was running it. And I'll bet that he has Oblama's personal phone number to call any time the mood hits him.
Actually, I think most of the useless degree programs are set up because the government insists that having a college degree - ANY college degree - will result in the graduate making millions more in his/her lifetime than someone without a degree. (But that is seldom correct.) The useless degrees generally give A's for just showing up once in awhile so they are easy to pass. And many students realize this. They think if they can get a useless degree it will be easy and they can make more than others - including those who take the hard courses and actually can get a job.
Rich: Riiiiight! What other BS did they tell you to justify the sports program? Life and the real world have very little to do with athletics except to encourage those who took it to pay big bucks to support it. It certainly doesn't teach you about survival or business! You learn that when you graduate.

Wimps Versus Barbarians

Don't bother asking for engineering studies to be increased. For the last forty years or so (since I graduated myself) generally only half the engineering graduates will ever get a job in engineering. There are far too many people for the jobs available. I believe that through science and engineering we can overcome any obstacle but the jobs aren't there. Neither is invention any more. You can come up with the best item in the world but you can't find financing to put it on the market (particularly if it involves energy) and you can sell it only for token money to a company IF you give them sole control over it for the rest of your life.

Sadly, the students will be forced to pay for their lib indoctrinational courses. And anyone who tries to get a degree in them will only be able to get a job as an instructor or as a government employee ... if that.
The universities actually have the money they really need in most cases. The books are written so the university can claim credit for having the authors on site. That increases the number of grants they can get from the government. Many universities tend to keep their professors busy on "research" - which is done by grad students while the head fo the department gets the credit.
