First, make it so nasty on pedophiles that none wants to risk it any more. We used to do that. At the time it was called "necktie parties". You really didn't even have to go that far. The sheer disgrace was enough to cause any "outed" to do theirselves in. Now it is almost fashionable. Do this and kids can go outside again.

Second, make it hard enough on the gangs in the same manner. If a gang member suddenly has heart failure (and a lot of things can cause that) do you think I'm going to cry about it? They are already ruined as far as a decent life goes. Then place some police in the city parks. Perhaps the kids can again go to the parks alone to play and enjoy themselvess. The reason the kids don't go now is that Mom...

Earlier this month, President Obama created a task force on childhood obesity to be headed by Michelle Obama, who has taken up the issue as her public-service cause under the banner "Let's Move."

Pointing to the nearly one-third of U.S. children who are either obese or overweight, the administration will pursue a legislative agenda to support its efforts, expanding the federal school-lunch program by $10 billion over 10 years and spending $400 million to bring grocery stores to so-called food deserts, urban and rural areas without adequate food stores.

So I guess this means we'll now own the corner...
