Gives TAX CREDITS to insurance companies to insure the POOR and/or the sick so costs are held down all around. (Those policies are NOT written now, so no tax comes out of them AND those folks are likely to be on Medicaid, Medicare, or both, costing us a fortune).
Plan provides MORE doctors and nurses--you think you wait NOW for a dr? Wait till they retire soon!
It provides PRICE TRANSPARENCY so people can compare prices for the first time and introduces competition.
Seen the price of LASIK over a decade? ALL health care could be like that--DROPPING in...

The current debate over whether the national health care plan being developed in Congress should or should not include a so-called "public option" -- a health insurance plan set up by the government to compete with private health insurance providers -- misses the point.

In reality, the entirety of the congressional health care plan is a "public option." It is all about one thing: putting government in control of health care.
