Bubbalou, you're mistaken-the proper term is "military style semi-automatic assault weapon". How about a snub nose revolver in your hands or mine is a "saturday night special" but in the hands of LEO it's a "Detectives special". What a bunch of fools.

Also, notice how those cheap zinc guns called "Saturday Night Specials are worthless for self-defense in the hands of a citizen, but deadly lethal in the hands of a criminal.

you folks BOTH should go back to the first comments and READ them, and you would not have been making the mistakes you have made.

Uhhhmmm...are you joking? There is no such thing as a "semi-automatic assault weapon" as "assault weapons" are military issue battle rifles that fire automatically. Unless your post was sarcasm.

Well, at least he's being honest. TIME Magazine editor-at-large Mark Helperin was recently on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell and admitted that the vast majority of major news outlets believe in and are pushing for more gun control. Helperin also said efforts to push for more gun control are not representative of the will of the American people, further proving just how out of touch the "mainstream" media is with the rest of America.
