The Battle For Coal River Mountain
Location: KY
I used to live in eastern KY in the coal mining area. In a town called Martin.
It was a disaster. The people were treated wore than animals and many had black lung disease while the corporates of the companies got megarich. They were all astoudingly poor and most of them sick. Lots of them hate missing arms or legs.
All the rivers were polluted as they still are. Lots of toxic waste that especially harms the fetuses that rightwingers say the support. Toxic waste like that never goes away but keeps on making people sick.
Rightwigners don't seem to mind if America the Beautiful turns into America the Toxic Waste Country and that ever more Americans die early from toxic pollution.
