The Iranian government has already demonstrated its low regard for the Iranian people. Like Saddam Hussein, the Iranian Mullahs have demonstrated a willingness to slaughter their own people, even if it is a violation of the teachings of the Quran. To paraphrase Hussein, Iranian soldiers will grow fat while children starve. As Hemingway commented in the Spanish civil war, "They are nothing but bullies, and the only thing a bully understands is a sound thrashing". Remember, Islam's ultimate goal is to place the entire population of Earth under a single Islamic caliphate.
