A Decade of War -- for What?

Pat Buchanan blew it. Since the attack of 9/11, we have not suffered a major terrorist attack on American soil. According to the just released documents captured during the Bin Laden raid, the jihadist movement consisting of numerous poorly organized groups have more in common with Mexican drug gangs than organized military units. Like street crime, and the poor, we will have the jihadist with us always, attempting to eliminate us infidels. It is better to fight them overseas than over here. Fire All Incumbents. Viva la revolucion.

We wouldn't have had 9/11 to begin with if it weren't for our open borders immigration policies.

... that is until they get their hands on a nuclear weapon. That day is the final one for all "islam" and it's anti-Christ "believers".

"My fellow Americans, we have traveled through more than a decade under the dark cloud of war," said Barack Obama from Bagram Air Base.

"Here in the predawn darkness, we can see the light of a new day on the horizon. The Iraq War is over. The number of troops in harm's way has been cut in half, and more will be coming home. ... The time of war began in Afghanistan, and this is where it will end."

Interesting comment, that last.

If "the time of war" is at an end, does that rule out U.S. military action in Syria...
