Maybe that would be the conservatives salvation... It has already been proven-for the most part-that the dem's schemes hinge upon having conservatives in a position to be blamed and/or held at least partially culpable for the chaos/failure that usually follows. Remember obama's first two years he had carte-blanche, and didn't use it!!!

Yeah, it's too bad Bush was on watch when the big-bang, which was the direct result of the incredibly stupid dem home give-away fiasco..THAT EVERYONE KNEW WAS COMING..finally occurred. He tried to warn them..many times, but was told "fannie and freddie WERE financially sound!!! My biggest complaint is that he(Bush) didn't throw a knock-down screaming hissy fit or temper-tantrum..like my friends who admit to being democrats clearly excel at..to get this msg out...

Society has to start punishing these types-we have let appearance take precedence over performance-shame on us... We have abandoned the "git er done" attitude and instead adopted/accepted the "never let them see you sweat/deny it to the end..esp when you're wrong" manta...

And don't forget there's also people on the right using the same left-wing tactics against Palin. I'd love to see Sarah/TP hold these guy's feet to the fire-tell them this ISN'T about just changing all the d's to r's on the nameplates, and then continuing on down the same corrupt road..just at a slower pace. Let them know if they resist this then we might as well lose-I'd just as soon the d's get ALL the credit for running our country into the ground. The TP has nothing to lose if they can't get any recognition, but these progressive conservatives will throw away a very good shot at winning big, if they don't recognize and address the TP concerns.
