Well said, as always, Mr Williams. George W. Bush used to like to say that freedom is the desire of every human heart. What he failed to realize was that while all people want freedom for themselves, there are far fewer that want it for others. People who genuinely want freedom and justice for ALL are rare. Governments that have achieved it are rarer still. For all its faults, America has done the best job of it of any nation in history. You notice that those who continue to use the slavery card for political gain are the same ones who are most intent on using government to force us to adhere to their ideology. That isn't a coincidence.

A pied piper and butt naked emperor all rolled into one. It's so depressing to think that Americans could have elected such a man. It's like Obi Wan Kanobi said in Star Wars: "Who is the bigger fool. The fool. Or the fools who follow him." If a majority of Americans have become the kind of fools who follow such fools, then we are in for a bumpy ride.

I'm guessing he's taking time to prepare for the debates. A wise strategy. They are his best remaining chance to show the nation why we should choose him over Obama. We need him to go into them rested and prepared.

Everything you need to know about modern progressivism you learned in junior high. Liberalism is an inherently adolescent belief system. It is not surprising in a land as privileged as ours, that a growing chunk of our people would fail to move out of adolescence. Those people gravitate to the liberal side. This is why trying to understand the liberal mind is so like trying to understand the mind of your teenage children. Liberalism is equal parts popularity contest, ignorance, narcissism, entitlement, and whim of the day.
