Where Is John Galt?

These threads are so depressing.... A great article that should have prompted civilized discussions on how best to get this country back on track, instead get's hijacked by hoards of semi-informed hate-mongers, obviously few of which have ever read Rand, and apparently none of which managed to absorb any of the wisdom therein. Reminds me of the librarian I once overheard refer to The Fountainhead as "a boring book about architecture". Our Socialized education system has dumbed-down the population to the point where facts not only don't matter, they're to be actively avoided because they so often inflict feelings of discomfort on the intellectually-stunted, parasitic masses. Yes, I am being insensitive, aren't I? But I'm RIGHT.
